LUUM Awards 2026: Purpose-Driven Creativity Takes the Global Stage

Creativity is no longer judged only by what it sells. Increasingly, it is judged by what it changes.

The strongest ideas today do more than capture attention. They challenge assumptions, advance meaningful causes, influence culture and help communities imagine a better future.

That belief sits at the heart of LUUM Awards 2026, the international festival dedicated to recognizing creative and strategic communications that generate positive impact across society, humanity and the environment.

Through its partnership with Constellation Global Network, LUUM opens a valuable international platform for independent agencies ready to demonstrate that creativity can be both commercially powerful and socially relevant.

A festival where purpose is the starting point

LUUM was created during the pandemic, inspired by the solidarity that emerged across communities around the world. Its central idea is clear: communicators, agencies, brands and organizations can become agents of change when creativity is used to support causes that matter.

The name Lu’um means “world” or “fertile land” in the Mayan language. It reflects the festival’s ambition to create fertile ground for ideas capable of improving the world around us.

LUUM welcomes campaigns addressing areas such as:

  • Social impact and community development

  • Human rights, equality and inclusion

  • Environmental protection and sustainability

  • Health and wellness

  • Animal welfare

  • Institutional and NGO communications

  • Purpose-led design, innovation and advocacy

Its official category structure includes Causes, Designs for a Better World, Essence of the Message, Health & Wellness, Human Rights, Institutional Communication, Planet and Society.

Recognition that moves beyond the trophy

What makes LUUM particularly relevant is that its vision extends beyond an awards ceremony.

The festival connects creative recognition with academic exchange, international collaboration and volunteer experiences designed to support communities and organizations working on social and environmental challenges.

For 2026, Costa Rica was selected as the host country for the awards ceremony and volunteer experience. LUUM highlighted the country’s commitment to peace, sustainability, biodiversity and community well-being as central reasons for the decision.

This approach turns participation into something broader than professional recognition. It creates an opportunity for the creative industry to connect ideas with action—and visibility with responsibility.

An exclusive opportunity for Constellation members

Under LUUM’s general participation model, validated agencies receive four entries without registration fees. Through the partnership between Constellation Global Network and LUUM Awards, every active Constellation member agency can submit:

Up to five entries with no registration fee

This exclusive benefit gives members one additional opportunity to present the work that best represents their strategic thinking, creative excellence and ability to generate meaningful impact.

Member agencies may also submit professional profiles for consideration for the LUUM Awards 2026 international jury through Constellation’s private channels.

Jury participation brings together leaders from creative agencies, brands, NGOs and other organizations, creating a multidisciplinary evaluation environment around purpose-driven communication. LUUM’s published 2026 jury includes professionals from international agencies, independent companies and social organizations across different markets.

Candidacies are subject to review and final confirmation by LUUM Awards.

Why this partnership matters

For independent agencies, strong work does not always receive the international visibility it deserves.

The partnership between Constellation and LUUM helps reduce that distance by giving member agencies:

  • Access to an international purpose-driven awards platform

  • Five complimentary entries per agency

  • Opportunities to present senior professionals for jury consideration

  • Greater visibility for work connected to social and environmental impact

  • Guidance from Constellation during registration and entry submission

  • A new point of connection with global creative leaders and organizations

This reflects Constellation’s broader mission: helping independent agencies access opportunities that would be more difficult to reach alone while strengthening collaboration, visibility and international positioning across the network.

Put your strongest work forward

Purpose-driven creativity is not defined by good intentions alone.

It requires insight, craft, strategic clarity and evidence that an idea can move people—or move society—toward something better.

LUUM Awards 2026 offers independent agencies a global platform to demonstrate exactly that.

Now is the moment to review your strongest cases, bring the right teams into the conversation and identify the work that deserves to represent your agency internationally.

Because great creativity does more than earn recognition. It strengthens causes, influences culture and turns ideas into meaningful impact.
