Rinas and Sylvania: Ecuadorian creativity with regional impact
From Quito, Ecuador, Constellation member agency Rinas led an innovative campaign to launch the new solar energy product line of Sylvania. Under the creative direction of Pedro Ortiz, the team developed a strategic concept that blended branding, innovation, and sustainability.
The campaign introduced Voltaico, a character created as the official ambassador of the brand’s solar offering—designed to connect with audiences in a memorable, human and scalable way.
From Ecuador to Colombia and Mexico
The impact of the campaign quickly crossed borders. Thanks to its creative strength and market results, the initiative was adopted by Sylvania Colombia and Lumiance Mexico, extending the same message across the region with a focus on clean energy and efficiency.
This case demonstrates how Latin American creativity can scale internationally when strategy, identity, and purpose come together.
A story that reflects the power of the network
At Constellation, we highlight this achievement as a clear example of the global reach that independent agencies in our network can generate. Rinas reinforces the visibility of Ecuadorian talent in the region, while Sylvania strengthens its positioning in Latin America through a forward-thinking approach to solar innovation.
